Family Story Project

Dear Family,

At General Conference last week, Elder Allan Packer spoke about Families, and about sharing and knowing our family stories. We decided as a family to start sharing one family history story each week in Family Home Evening to help us learn more about our family.

I thought it would be nice for our children to hear stories from both their parents and grandparents, in addition to stories about their ancestors. So on that note, I am hoping you will want to participate in a Story Telling Project. Everyone can play along. I have a jar of questions from which we will choose one questions every month to send to you. Answer the question, and share the answer with your own children or grandchildren. We would love to hear any stories you want to share with the larger group.

Here are the first three questions choosen by:

Rhiannon: "What did you want to be when you grew up?"
Naomi: "What does/did your family do that is/was different from other families?"
Hebe: "Describe your favorite childhood toy".

Next month we will only send one question, but today the 3 girl cousins needed to each choose their own question.
